• Tool submissions: tool name, website, description, category, pricing, and the contact email you provide so we can review and respond.
• Reviews: display name, optional email, rating, and review text you submit on a tool page.
• Usage analytics: if configured (e.g. Plausible or GA4), we receive aggregate traffic data such as pages viewed and referrers. We do not sell personal data.
• Technical logs: standard server logs (IP, user agent) may be processed briefly for security and reliability.

How we use information

We use submission and review data to operate the directory, moderate content, contact you about your submission, and improve ToolBees. Analytics help us understand which pages are useful.

Cookies & local storage

We store your theme preference in local storage (tb-theme). Admin sessions use a secure cookie. Third-party analytics scripts, if enabled, may set their own cookies according to their policies.

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email delivery) as processors to run the site. We do not sell your personal information. Public reviews and published tool listings are visible to everyone.

Your choices

Email us at support@toolbees.io to request correction or deletion of a submission contact record or a review you authored. We may retain limited records when required for security or legal compliance.
